University of Wisconsin Press

The work of Wood, Benton and Curry, a trio of acclaimed American painters, is examined in this book, with the author looking at their modernist tendencies and arguing that their styles were both mislabelled and misunderstood. He supports his argument with a thematic assortment of their work.
